August 2008 – The gallery flats in the De Platen complex in Rozenburg have undergone a genuine transformation. The galleries have been widened, raised up and made wind- and water-proof, and the size of the balconies has been increased. For this project, Verzinkerij Heerhugowaard has galvanised steel roof beams, and balcony and gallery fences. Poedercoating Heerhugowaard powder coated the fences in light green (RAL 7024).

July 2008 – Dog dirt is one of the things that people find most annoying. It can be a real scourge, particularly in large cities. To encourage dog-owners to clear up after their dogs, more and more municipal authorities have started to introduce special rubbish bins for dog dirt. Poedercoating Heerhugowaard recently powder coated a large batch of rubbish bins in RAL 5018, Turkish Blue.

April 2008 – The Statenweg line is part of the RandstadRail lightrail project. Two bored tunnel tubes measuring 2.4 km connect the Erasmus underground line at Rotterdam Central Station with the Hofplein railway line. Arco Roosters supplied 1,200 m² of pressed gratings for wall cladding in this project. 7,200 m² of perfo gratings for the emergency routes in the tunnel will be delivered late this year. Poedercoating Heerhugowaard powder coated the wall cladding gratings.

February 2008 – Poedercoating Heerhugowaard has two production lines for both small and very large assignments. In 2007, we started work with a new quick-change booth, and the small bed was replaced recently. These innovations have pushed up the maximum volumes for powder coating. In addition, the metal products can be powder coated faster and more efficiently and the process is more environmentally friendly.

January 2008 – After 3 months of preparations, it was finally D-day. On 2 January 2008, Verzinkerij IJsselmuiden and Spruyt Coatings Hoogeveen officially became part of ROTO. The two companies are now operating under the names Verzinkerij Kampen and Poedercoating Hoogeveen.

December 2007 – Poedercoating Heerhugowaard recently installed a new quick-change booth. In 2006 the requirements for quick-change booths in powder coating facilities were made stricter. As the old powder coating booth at Poedercoating Heerhugowaard could not meet these requirements, a new one was purchased. With this new quick-change booth metal products can be powder coated more efficiently and more environment-friendly.

December 2007 – Project De Nollen West is a beautiful new residential quarter of Alkmaar. All houses have a link with the surroundings that abound in water. For instance all gardens are situated on the water. To screen off the gardens from the water, balcony fences were placed that were galvanised by Verzinkerij Heerhugowaard and coated by Poedercoating Heerhugowaard.

December 2006 – A new fire station was built next to the Den Helder police station. For this fire station Poedercoating Heerhugowaard coated 2,300 m² of wall panels in a dual layer system. The first layer was an epoxy primer and the second layer in colour RAL 9007 (Grau aluminium) was a polyester finish coat(Akzo D2525) for additional protection of the building against the specific weather conditions on the coast.

July 2006 – Three different ROTO companies were called in for the construction of 14 apartments of the project “Driestal” in Heiloo. De Boer Snijbedrijf was asked to cut steel, Verzinkerij Heerhugowaard to galvanise steel and Poedercoating Heerhugowaard for powder coating steel.
